Snowcap is a spectacular, tiny hummingbird of Central American cloud forests and one of those extravagant birds that consistently make it onto lists of Costa Rica most wanted bird species. This hummers are really shy and there aren’t many accessible places to see them, but they are really amazing and when you find them, its a joy to watch them buzz around like teeny helicopters with those snow white caps and purple body!
